Extensive research and communication with the principals at Tangram made for a clear design strategy. The project goals and expectations were layed out, and the Tangram brand was designed to evoke feelings of trust, clarity, and cooperation, while connecting strongly with the Tangram puzzle game and it's Chinese roots.
After the design process was complete and both parties were satisfied, phase two began, and the design was coded into a customized Wordpress template. Services included HTML, CSS, and interactive JQuery design. And to top it off, it has a live blog that can easily be updated and changed by the customer.

To begin the branding process, the graphic foundations were layed out for Icicle, the product. This included designing logos, icons, and the menu interface. Moving forward, we printed brochures, business cards, banners, and letterheads as materials and decor for the Canada-wide campaign.
After the graphic materials were made for the Icicle, a brand new user interface and corporate identity was built for Burton Software using the Orchard CMS system, with multiple integrated blogs. This served as a landing page for customer inquiries.

Before the design process could begin, extensive research and surveying was required in order to understand the organization's mission, and to figure out what imagery would most effectively and positively portray the situation to the public eye. The results were analyzed and the campaign was tailored in accordance.
Now that the graphic foundations have been layed out, the web design process has started. The website is currently being built in Wordpress with an integrated blog and is near the launch date. Check back here soon for a live link, and visit standcanada.org to learn more about STAND.
In my spare time, I also enjoy creating digital artwork. I use a 22 inch Intuos Pro pen tablet which provides optimal accuracy and speed. Most of my artwork is done with Sketchbook Pro, and I also use the gradient mesh tool in Adobe Illustrator to create math-based artwork, which can be infinitely scaled and manipulated.
